Cancer starts when cells in specific part of the body begin to grow out of control. It also can spread to different area of body. Eyes have three major sections, the eyeball, the orbit, and there are a number of various types of cancer that affect different sections of eyes. However, the symptoms for eye cancer are not always obvious, there are still some indicators such as shadows, flashes of light, or wiggly lines in your vision, blurred vision, a dark patch in your eye that's getting bigger, partial or total, bulging of one eye and a lump on your eyelid or in your eye that's increasing in size. Depending on the type and stage of the cancer, there are treatment options for eye cancer such as surgery, radiation therapy and laser therapy. In addition, chemotherapy and targeted therapy might apply for eye cancer as well as other cancers.
